Go to a release
  1. Version 0.3.64

    What's new

    • Updates now come from atlascode.kuramalab.net and need your license key. Enter it in Settings > Updates under License key: a preview and a character count help you type it, it's stored in the Vault, and afterwards only a masked form is shown. Without a key, Atlas keeps working but doesn't look for updates, and Check now tells you why. If the key is refused or revoked, a red dot appears on Settings and one click takes you to the field. If the site asks you to wait, Atlas shows Try again at with the time. The Stable and Beta channels stay, and All releases opens the news page on the site. Install this version to keep receiving updates.
    • When you reach a subscription limit, a single card shows the state, the account in use, and when the limit resets. Change account asks you to confirm (it applies to every session that uses that account), then opens a terminal with /login and offers Restart with the new account.
    • When an agent works with subagents, a pill and a chat line show how many are running and for how long, and Open the map shows them all with state, duration, tokens, tools, and model. Background commands appear with their real command, and the status bar says 1 agent · 2 subagents. It works from remote clients too.
    • The permission card shows the command formatted, side by side with the raw data and a Copy button. Scripts such as node -e and python -c are highlighted one statement per line, and Allow and Deny stay in view.
    • Remote access on a phone has its own layout: a header with state, person, and search, a connection row only when the link drops, and Sessions, Chat, Alerts, and More tabs at the bottom. Requests waiting for a decision can be allowed or denied from Alerts. In the chat, the icon bar fits on one row, Enter adds a line and the Send button sends, and an empty chat offers Open it for a running session.

    Fixed

    • Git counts commits to publish with one rule everywhere: the projects bar shows an N to publish chip, and the Git panel, the side card, and Publish no longer disagree. The warning before amending the last commit appears when that commit is already published.
    • When a subagent uses a different model from yours, the model pill under the message box stays on yours, and the session resumes with your model.
    • Stop All now also stops a session that was resuming at that moment.
    • If an installer downloaded for an update doesn't match its published signature, Atlas says so instead of reporting that the site isn't responding.
    • When sending queued messages fails, the notice says the first one wasn't sent and points to the error on screen.
  2. Version 0.3.63

    What's new

    • You can see and change who signs commits right from the chat. The header shows a Signs as: <name> · Change chip, the choice applies to the open session straight away, and when the agent needs new credentials a strip offers Restart the session. In a narrow header, who signs gives way before the title, in a fixed order.
    • Git History shows at a glance which commits aren't published yet, puts the local and remote branch labels on the right commit, and adds Check · fetch, Get · pull · n, and Publish · push · n. Select a file to open its diff at full width with line numbers and ‹ n/m › navigation, or open the history of a single file.
    • Queued messages appear in a strip above the message box, each with its state: Next, Sending, Paused, or Maybe sent. You can edit, remove, or merge them, Send now sends the first one, and Stop and send stops the reply and sends it. The queue survives a restart in a paused state, and a message that may already have been sent never resends on its own.
    • Remote sign-in now fits a phone screen, in portrait and landscape. The password field has a single show-password eye, the Not secure sheet can be read in full, and Reconnect is turned off with Trying to connect while a connection attempt is running.

    Fixed

    • Your messages always carry your name, including messages imported from the terminal, and imported text stays readable instead of arriving already masked. After /clear in the terminal, the chat follows the new conversation and says so in a note, and a one-off conversation started in the same folder is no longer picked up by mistake.
    • In the sidebar, a session title now ends with an ellipsis before the delete and pin icons instead of running under them, in narrow sidebars and with long labels too, and times and states stay in place.
    • After Retry on reopening permissions, a queued message no longer goes to the old session just before it closes. It reaches the reopened session.
    • In the project Git settings with many repositories, the Who signs panel of the last repository is no longer cut off. The body scrolls, the panel comes into view with the repository name pinned at the top, and focus moves to the first choice.
  3. Version 0.3.62

    What's new

    • Edits now show side by side when the chat is at least 900 px wide: old and new lines are paired, changed words are highlighted, unchanged runs fold away, and a Unified | Side by side switch remembers your choice. Memory uses the same view.
    • The sidebar orders sessions by last activity, shows how long each one has been idle, and marks the most recent one in the folder with an orange dot. Reopening a session without writing doesn't move it.
    • The details of a command now show the whole command, formatted: shell colours, Python colours inside scripts, long lines that scroll sideways, Raw data to see what Atlas receives, Copy for the real command, and Show all past 40 lines. The commands list uses the same view.
    • Every search field has a × to clear it, and Esc clears the field before it closes a window.
    • You can copy any value in Details: select the value, use the icon in the margin, right-click for Copy value, Copy row, or Copy all, or use the keyboard. Commit and process details work the same way.
    • In Settings > Chat, you can set the chat column to automatic or to a maximum width, centred, and choose its border. Each chat look also has its own text padding.
    • In narrow windows the chat header and the row below the message box stay on one line. Items you can read elsewhere give way first, and you can still change the effort from the model menu.

    Fixed

    • A session title is now masked from the start when the first message contains a key: the title bar, path, sidebar, and message echo never show it, a rename shows the saved title, and titles already saved are cleaned up on update.
    • Fixed an issue where an agent reply was split mid-word by the commands of a subagent working in the background.
    • The CLI tab, global search, and folder conversation search now hide secrets the same way the chat does, and a conversation name taken from the CLI arrives already masked.
    • The command column in the commands list is now filled for Codex commands too.
    • With two permission requests open at once, answering one no longer resets the status to “thinking…”.
  4. Version 0.3.61

    What's new

    • The chat is easier to read. The background is darker, and every message has a frame in a fixed colour for its author: you, other people or agents. Name and time appear above each message. Consecutive commands are grouped into Ran N commands, which opens by itself while a command runs or when one fails, and shows the running time. Inline code is coloured, and long messages have Show all.
    • You can move a repository to another project with Move to… in the row menu, in Workspace or in Details, or by dragging it onto a project. When it matters, Atlas tells you who will gain or lose access, and you can undo the move. Only an administrator can move repositories.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where danger buttons were hard to read when you pointed to them.
    • In Audit and Commands, the load earlier row no longer covers the list.
    • The current hour in the usage bar is no longer cut off, and paths and Git identity in Details no longer break mid-word.
    • Windows paths in agent messages keep their backslashes, and permission cards no longer repeat the path.
    • Idle indicator texts are now translated and name the right button.
  5. Version 0.3.60

    What's new

    • You can now save chat looks with a name, choosing the font, size, line spacing, spacing and text width, with a live preview in Settings > Chat. To switch looks quickly, use the Aa button at the top of the chat. Each user has their own looks, also from the browser. Text size is no longer in Appearance: if you used Small or Large, you now have a look called Mio that keeps it. To make the whole interface bigger or smaller, use Zoom.
    • In Settings > Updates, select Details to read the release notes in a window that you can move. On the host PC it replaces What's new and still shows the versions in between.

    Fixed

    • Usage now counts what you use on the day of each reply, so Today is no longer 0 when your sessions run for days. Tokens in now includes tokens already stored, shown in their own column. Codex usage is no longer counted more than once, and cost no longer grows by mistake after New session or a resume.
    • Fixed an issue where lists in agent messages had an extra blank line between items.
  6. Version 0.3.59

    What's new

    • You now choose who signs Git commits for each repository instead of for the whole project, so one project can hold a GitHub repository and a GitLab repository with different identities and credentials. Your existing credentials move to the matching repositories. Important: until you choose who signs for a repository, commits and publishing stop there and the chat shows Choose who signs.
    • In the chat box, press Shift+Up or Shift+Down to go through the messages you sent. The arrow keys alone now always move the cursor.

    Fixed

    • The plan engine now tells you why a plan can't start, for example when you need to sign in to Claude Code or update it, and offers a button to do it. Only one plan runs at a time.
  7. Version 0.3.58

    What's new

    • Agents now work inside the allowed folders: the project, the folders you added in Settings > Security, and a temporary folder of their own. If an agent tries to work somewhere else, you can ask it to stay in the working folder, allow it this time only, or deny it. For remote users, Atlas denies the request automatically.

    Fixed

    • Remote users now see image previews only from their own folders.
  8. Version 0.3.57

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where an orchestrator plan failed when the goal contained braces.
    • The plan engine now uses the economy model and runs in read-only mode, so a plan costs much less. If no plan engine is selected, the Orchestrator page asks you to choose one.
    • Fixed an issue where the conversation scrolled sideways and the area below the chat shook. Long paths, links and text without spaces now wrap inside the conversation, and tables and code blocks scroll inside their frame.
    • Command rows in the chat now show the full command when you point to them.
  9. Version 0.3.56

    What's new

    • Remote clients and browsers no longer update the host. A banner shows that a new version is available on the host PC, with Details and Hide.
    • Commands that stop, restart or reinstall Atlas Code, or open windows on the host PC, are now available only on the host PC. Remote requests are refused and recorded in the activity log.
    • Up to date appears only after the host PC has checked for updates.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where an installer replaced after download could be launched. Install now checks the signature of the exact file it launches, and Download again appears when the check fails.
    • Fixed an issue where Atlas Code could close unexpectedly when the chat showed images from folders that aren't allowed. These images now show Preview not available with the file name, and the chat no longer reloads them.
  10. Version 0.3.55

    What's new

    • Replaced the Remote control and Pinned sections of the Projects bar with a row of filters: All, Active, Pinned and Remote, each with its session count. Each session now appears only once, in its folder.
    • The delete and pin buttons now appear over the end of a row when you point to it or move to it with the keyboard, and the row no longer shifts.
    • Session labels line up in one column, and permission and question badges stay visible.

    Fixed

    • Release notes are now available only in English, and each version includes only its own note. Details shows the note of the newer version between the remote client and the host, with a link to all release notes.
    • Update remote clients 0.3.52 to 0.3.54 to read the notes of a newer host in Details.
  11. Version 0.3.54

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where typing several lines in the chat box moved the messages above by one line at every letter, at any interface zoom, also when pasting or narrowing the window.
    • Commands that can't be used from the remote client now show Only on the host PC (PC name) under their name, instead of a long paragraph.
    • The PC name under a command no longer breaks in the middle.
    • Renamed the PC that runs Atlas Code to host throughout the interface.
    • Renamed Server account to Host account.
    • Changed the connection banners to say the host is not responding.
    • Kept Remote server as the name of the remote access service.
  12. Version 0.3.53

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where a link written by an agent in the chat opened the website inside the Atlas Code window, with no way to go back or close it.
    • The Atlas Code window, on the host and in the remote client, now never loads external pages.
    • Web links now open in the default Windows browser, or in a new tab from the remote browser.
    • Atlas Code links now go to the right page inside the app.
    • Any other link now shows the reason and Copy the link.
  13. Version 0.3.52

    What's new

    • Added a Details button to the Different versions window of the remote client, which shows what changes between the client and the host PC version.
    • You can read these notes even before you sign in.
    • Added one image viewer for chat previews, images in the agent's text, and the Files panel, also from the remote client.
    • A tall phone screenshot now opens at full width and scrolls.
    • You can now use Fit, Width, Actual, − and +, Ctrl+wheel, or pinch to zoom where the pointer is.
    • You can now drag to move the image, double-click for 200%, and use the keys + − 0 1 2.
    • Ctrl+wheel over an image no longer zooms the whole interface.
    • An image over 5 MB now says how large it is instead of showing a generic error.
    • Removed the portable version (zip): Atlas Code now ships only as the Windows installer.
    • To move from the portable version: install Atlas Code and close it; delete everything in %APPDATA%\AtlasCode, including atlas.db-wal and atlas.db-shm, which would damage your old database; copy everything from the data folder next to the old atlas-code.exe into %APPDATA%\AtlasCode; start Atlas Code; then delete the old portable folder.
  14. Version 0.3.51

    What's new

    • Usage and limits now draws the session as one cell per hour and the week as one cell per calendar day, with today in bold.
    • The percentage and the reset time now appear above the bar.
    • The colour now shows your pace against the current cell: blue behind, green on pace, ochre ahead, red well ahead or above 95%.
    • The host and the remote client now show the same thing.
    • When the agent can't reach the model service and retries on its own, a strip above the message box now says retrying on my own… 4 of 10 instead of showing an error card.
    • When the retries end, a row in the chat now keeps the outcome: recovered, error, or interrupted.
    • Errors, retries, and near-limit warnings are now compact rows that stay in the history.
    • Added Resend the last message for a transient failure, also from the remote client.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where some formats of Claude's limit reset time weren't read, which turned the weekly bar into a thin line.
    • If the reset time can't be read, the row now says reset not read and shows the original text.
    • If the daily history can't be read, a notice now gives the reason with Retry.
  15. Version 0.3.50

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where remote access in the browser showed Atlas Code for an instant before the sign-in page.
    • The page now checks the session first and shows only the sign-in until you're in.
    • After repeated wrong passwords, a user name is now paused for 1, then 5, then 15 minutes, except on a device that already signed in with it.
    • The sign-in message now shows a countdown in your language.
    • Fixed an issue where a turn written in the CLI tab of the remote client didn't appear in the chat.
    • Removed the error works only in the Atlas Code window.
    • When pasting is blocked in the browser, the message now says how to allow it.
  16. Version 0.3.49

    What's new

    • Right-click no longer opens the browser menu (Save as, Print, Reload), so the page can't be saved or printed by mistake.
    • Turned off the browser shortcuts Ctrl+S, Ctrl+P, Ctrl+R, and F5.
    • Right-click in text fields and in the terminal now opens the Atlas Code menu with Cut, Copy, Paste, and Select all.
    • Disabled menu items now say why.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where the chat showed default instead of the real permission mode, model, and effort.
    • The mode chosen for a session is now shown after reopening it, and the mode confirmed by Claude wins once it starts.
    • Added Automatic as a real choice in the effort menu.
    • When the program doesn't say which model it uses, the chat now says Chosen by the program.
    • Pasting no longer asks for clipboard permission, in the app or in the remote client.
    • A paste that can't read the clipboard now says so instead of doing nothing.
    • Ctrl+Shift+V in the terminal now pastes only once.
  17. Version 0.3.48

    What's new

    • Added Context N% next to the model in the chat, which shows how full the conversation is.
    • The context panel now tells you when Claude will compact the conversation.
    • You can now choose the compaction threshold, also by dragging the marker, and compact by hand.
    • The chat now shows Conversation compacted with the time it took and the space freed.
    • A new threshold applies when a conversation restarts, and the panel offers Restart now.
    • Added a third choice to Who signs the commits, Server account, where the company signs with a name, an email, and an access set once by an admin.
    • You can now pick identities you already used from a list.
    • From the remote client, non-admins can't publish with the server account until admin approval is available.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where a project's Git credentials worked for only one server of its repositories.
    • The project settings now have a row per server, and the Git panel offers Retry once credentials are set.
    • Queued messages now always go out, even while you look at another conversation.
    • After Stop or an interruption, the queue is now Paused and resumes in order with Resume and send.
  18. Version 0.3.47

    Fixed

    • Add folder now adds only the repositories you tick.
    • Clicking a branch or a path no longer changes the selection, and repositories you leave out stay excluded.
    • Nested repositories now appear in the same list.
    • Repositories found later now show up as a notice on the folder's row in the Projects bar.
    • Removing, renaming, or reordering a folder from remote control is now for admins only.
    • Nobody can remove a folder while a session is running in it.
    • Other people's sessions, tasks, and scheduled actions are now read-only for non-admins, even after resuming them.
    • Actions you can't take are now shown disabled with the reason.
    • Fixed an issue where opening a project file from Atlas Code didn't work.
    • Atlas Code now opens only documents inside your projects: text, images, PDF, Office files, web pages, audio, and video.
    • Programs, scripts, and files outside your projects are now shown in their folder with the reason, instead of nothing happening.
    • Queued messages now stay on hold with Retry after a failed restart, even when you switch conversations and come back.
    • Deleting a conversation now releases a held message at once.
  19. Version 0.3.46

    What's new

    • Atlas Code no longer denies Claude's permission requests on its own.
    • Added a card in the chat that shows what the agent wants to do, with Allow, Always allow in this session, and Deny; the agent waits for your answer.
    • Always allow in this session lasts for the current conversation only and is never written to the project's files.
    • Added a Waiting for your permission pill and counters that show where an answer is needed.
    • A remote user who can't answer now sees the request greyed out with the reason.
    • Added Ask every time to the permissions menu.
    • Read only is now truly read-only, and agents that had it keep it.
    • Renamed the Folders panel to Projects.
    • Each project now has its own gear next to its name.
    • You can now rename a project from its settings or by double-clicking its name.
    • New project now asks only for the name and who signs the commits.
    • Hovering a project or folder in the Projects bar now shows ⋯, which opens the menu with every action.
    • You can also open the same menu with a right-click or from the keyboard.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where Edit agent didn't show the saved permissions.
    • Fixed an issue where renaming an agent reset its permissions to the default.
    • Fixed an issue where Open and other links in Atlas Code didn't open the browser.
    • A link that can't be opened is now shown with Copy the link instead of doing nothing.
    • Fixed an issue where a message sent right after changing the chat permissions was lost.
    • That message now waits until the conversation restarts and is sent once.
    • If the restart fails, the text now stays with Retry.
  20. Version 0.3.45

    What's new

    • Dialogs now open in the center of the window, including in the remote client.
    • You can now move a dialog by dragging its header, and it never goes outside the window.
    • A dialog whose content grows now moves up only as much as needed, instead of jumping.
    • Error messages now have their own icon, distinct from warnings.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where a conversation renamed outside Atlas Code (in the Claude app, or with /rename in the terminal) kept its old name in Atlas Code.
    • Resuming a renamed conversation no longer puts the old name back.
    • From the remote client, each person now reads and changes only their own settings.
    • Panel filters, terminal preferences, and the inactivity threshold are now personal, and existing ones are moved over once.
    • Only an admin can now change the host PC settings.
    • Deleting a user now removes their settings too.
  21. Version 0.3.44

    What's new

    • When Claude Code asks you to choose, the chat now shows a card with the options and their descriptions.
    • The card allows multiple choices when the agent does, and has an Other field for your own answer.
    • Your answer goes back to the agent, which carries on, and the card also works from the remote client.
    • While a question is open, the session shows Waiting for your choice and a question mark in the sidebar.
    • Esc no longer stops the agent by mistake while a question is open.
    • If a question is withdrawn, for example because you answered somewhere else, the card now closes on its own and says so.
    • Added a yellow light in the chat header when you change the model or effort mid-turn, which turns green once the change is active.
    • Resuming a Claude Code or Codex conversation that is open in another program on this PC, such as a terminal, no longer opens an empty chat or a second copy of it.
    • Added a card that shows which program has the conversation.
    • Added Take over here, which closes that program after checking it again and resumes the conversation in Atlas Code.
    • From another computer, only an admin can use Take over here.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where the Details pane stayed open in a narrow window; its button now says Widen the window to see the details.
    • Fixed an issue where the bar of commits ready to publish didn't follow the agent's commits during a turn.
    • A second commit in the same turn now updates the count right away, and the old count no longer flashes at the end of the turn.
  22. Version 0.3.41

    What's new

    • You can now choose, for each project, who signs commits and which credentials publish them: Project account or Everyone with their own identity.
    • You can set this when you create a project, including nested folders and imported configurations.
    • Hosts and admins can change it later from the gear next to the project name.
    • Added Settings > Git identity, where each person sets their own name, email, and credentials for each server address.
    • The Git panel now warns you when something is missing and takes you to the fix.
    • Added a bar above the message box that shows, at the end of a turn, how many commits are ready to publish.
    • You can now select Publish to publish those changes, or let the project publish them automatically.
    • Atlas Code now explains in one sentence why a server rejected the upload.
    • You can now switch the repository connection from SSH to HTTPS in one step, after reviewing the old and new address.
    • Added Remote control to the chat toolbar, with an icon that shows whether it's off, starting, ready, connected, or in error.
    • You can now open the Remote control link in a dialog above the chat, or type /remote-control.
    • You can now type / to see the commands of your CLI, along with skills and Atlas Code commands.
    • Commands that don't fit on the toolbar are now in the More menu.
    • A command's result now opens in its own dialog.
    • Opening the CLI no longer creates a second copy of the conversation, and the chat always shows the full history.

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where very long conversations stayed empty in the remote client while it kept reconnecting.
    • Very long conversations now open from the remote client in under a second, even on a slow network.
    • The latest turns now appear first, and earlier turns load as you scroll up.
    • The chat now says when it's loading, and offers Retry if loading fails.
    • Very long conversations now open much faster in the Atlas Code window on the host PC.
    • Fixed an issue where header totals (tokens and edited files) counted only the loaded part of the conversation.
    • Fixed an issue where a very large message, such as a big file written by the agent, made the conversation unreadable from the remote client.
    • Content beyond a size limit is now shortened, with a note that shows how much was left out.
    • After the host is updated, the remote client now shows The host was updated with Reload.
    • A remote client of a different version now stops with Update the client and updates itself after checking the signature.
    • A remote client newer than the host now asks you to update Atlas Code on the host.
    • Remote clients 0.3.40 and earlier need to be updated once by running the installer.
  23. Version 0.3.40

    Fixed

    • Fixed an issue where the chat scrolled back to the bottom while you were reading earlier messages, including in the remote browser and on phones.
    • Added The reply continues, which takes you back to the latest message.
    • Fixed an issue where a chat update that couldn't be displayed froze the conversation.
    • Atlas Code now tells you when something wasn't shown and offers Reload the conversation.
